Below is some important information which we hope will be helpful and let you know more about the Windward Shores community. Protective Covenants Windward Shores is covered by a set of protective covenants. These covenants were put in place by the developers to protect the character and value of the neighborhood. Property Owners Association All property owners automatically belong to the Windward Shores Property Owners' Association. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors that consists of seven members serving staggered 3-year terms. The Board meets quarterly at one of the director's homes at 4:30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of January, April, July and November. The Association holds its annual meeting on the 2nd Saturday in September at the Lake Gaston Community Center. All property owners are encouraged to atend. Architectural Review The Windward Shores protective covenants requiresany construction or additions to be approved.
